World Inspiring Network

About Us:

World Inspiring Network is a Ghanaian registered non-profit organisation, established with the intention of helping rural children to gain access to quality education. We aim to empower young people in Ghana, focusing on both the development of the individual child and the community that they belong to. We believe in equality and inclusion for all, advocating for women and other potentially disadvantaged groups. The organisation was founded in 2016 by Maxwell Odonkor and has grown considerably since its inception, with Willow Faulkner joining as Co-Founder in 2019.

World Inspiring Network has had a positive impact, thus far, on more than 500 lives, contributing significantly to the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in Ghana. Our team of dedicated, vibrant volunteers are crucial to our organisation, passionately working with us to provide solutions to the challenges in rural Ghana. Together, we believe that we can make a crucial difference; both in Ghana and beyond, contributing to the eradication of poverty. Our Mission:

Statistics indicate that extreme poverty has declined significantly in recent decades. In most countries, however, some form of poverty persists, with innumerable families unable to access food, clean water, shelter, and quality education. Despite considerable economic growth, Ghana is no exception to this. Poverty presents an abhorrent problem to which there is no straightforward solution, but, at the World Inspiring Network, we are determined to help make a difference to communities across the country. We take inspiration from the 17 Sustainable Goals outlined by the United Nations, focusing primarily on the first five; no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, and gender equality. Thus far, the World Inspiring Network has played an active role in supporting communities, providing food, water, and other essential resources to those most in need. We believe that making quality education accessible to all is crucial to the eventual eradication of poverty, and work through many of our initiatives to achieve this. Recently, we launched the Education Response Fund, and aim to support some of the most disadvantaged pupils in the Ahomahomsu, Osunu Dompe, Besebuom, and Tafi Mador communities with our Send a Child to School Initiative.

Our Vision:

Our vision is a Ghana where poverty has ceased to exist, where every individual has access to sufficient food, clean water, shelter, and quality education, irrespective of their gender or background.
