INTRODUCTION

Sansqua Engineering and Construction is a wholly Ghanaian owned firm, which was registered in the year 2010. SV is a customer focused company, which was set up primarily to offer innovative solutions to the built environment in Ghana and beyond thus going with the slogan – BUILDING RIGHT. We provide a wide range of diversified construction and engineering services while offering a safe and progressive work environment for our employees.

 Supply of building materials ie Quarry aggregates, iron rods, cement, and all other relevant building materials

 Supply and installation of plastic and aluminum profiled windows

 Provide services in carpentry, joinery, and general woodworks.

 Provide all relevant design expertise for building projects ie architectural and engineering services

 Provide all the necessary risk management services required to execute a project.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is of great importance to SV. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees, subcontractors and the public. Our Health and Safety programmes includes training of our staff and sub contractors on observing key health and safety practices on every site that we work in. Sansqua’s OHS consultant provides risk assessment, safe work procedures and the implementation of a job observation programmes for our projects.

OUR PEOPLE

SV has a team of very competent construction and engineering professionalsie mechanical, civil, electrical, architecture and manufacturing. Furthermore, we have reliable, professional and competent masons, carpenters, electricians and plumbers who are always willing, ready and able to deliver expeditiously on the job in order to delight the customer.

Kofi Ansah

Kofi Ansah is a young and dynamic Managing Director of Sansqua and brings his wealth of experience in Marketing and Management to the company. He is a Ghanaian who holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Ghana. Formerly an Associate Consultant with the international business consultants, Morisson Miller Associates, U.K. He has extensive knowledge and experience in Insurance, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources. He holds a master’s degree in Marketing Management from the University of East London, U.K. Prior to becoming the Managing Director of Sansqua, he was the Sales and Marketing Director of Phoenix Insurance. Through his leadership, Sansqua has seen steady and impressive growth since 2010 in the construction industry.

GEORGE TAWIAH- WALKER

George is a manufacturing engineer who has also been in construction for over twenty years. He is a well rounded, proactive and creative professional who has supervised the construction of high profile projects both in Ghana and the United States of America. He has won a number of awards in wood work and construction. He holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Hartford University, Connecticut, USA. He is the General Manager in charge of projects at SV.

ISAAC ADDAE

Isaac is a young and dynamic architect currently working on various sites of Sansqua. He specialises in remoulding and landscape architecture. His designs are very unique and his ability to offer critical solutions on various projects areunparallel. He is well noted for designing the Kumasi zoo mixed use hospitality facility. He has been a hands on draughtsman and architect for over ten years. He is a member of the AGI and holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Central university College. Before joining Sansqua, he was an architect with Spektra designs and Atlantic construction company.

MICHAEL ADDO: Michael is a consulting mechanical engineer for Sansqua Ventures. He has been in practice for over two decades. He is well noted for executing the mechanical works at La Beach towers ie 18 storey building apartment block in Ghana. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from Kwame Nkrumah university of Science and Technology (KNUST). He is currently in charge of mechanical works on the Roseburg project.

ANTHONY KOOMSON: is the electrical engineer for the company. Anthony has had a hands on experience in electrical engineering for over fifteen years. He has worked extensively for Ghana Ports and Harbours (GHAPOHA). He holds a Bsc. in electrical engineering from The Maritime university, Ghana and currently responsible for the design and execution of the electrical works at the Roseburg project.

ISAAC KOFI DADZIE: Kofi is a well experienced structural engineer whose experience in his area of expertise spans over two decades. He has consulted extensively as a project and site engineer for Diageo, ministry of works and housing, KNUST and other major companies and projects in Ghana. He was the first structural engineer to have designed and supervised insulated concrete form (ICF) project in Ghana with Sansqua Ventures. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He is also a member of Ghana Institute of engineers.

ARNOLD YEVUGAH: Is the quantity surveyor for the company and has practiced for over five years. His projections and estimates for various projects are always cost effective as he normally considers ingenious ways of ensuring Sansqua’s competitive survival for various projects. He holds a Diploma in Building Technology from Accra polytechnic.

SOME ON GOING AND EXECUTED PROJECTS

 OAS African Investments (A Brazilian Multinational Construction Company): Sansqua successfully refurbished the former head office of OAS at airport residential area in 2012.

 The Roseburg: Currently, executing a- 24 executive office space of over 1000m2 called Roseberg office complex at Osu, Ringway Estates. This construction is a hybrid of traditional and ICF systems of construction.

 Kumasi Zoo Hospitality Project: Currently, collaborating with Raining King Design to execute a mixed use 3 storey with basement hospitality project in Kumasi zoo.

 Covenant Hospital: offering technical support and consultancy services for over a-1000metre square hospital complex in Tema.

 Peak Lyceum, Community 22, Tema:This is a 10 class room 2- story building, designed and built by Sansqua Ventures at community 22, Tema

 Beaver Project This is a- 700m2, two- story building consisting of a clinic at the ground floor, offices and apartments. Sansqua executed this project using the ICF technology. Sansqua is the first to build with this technology in Ghana.

 Sansqua successfully and efficiently supplied building materials to Global Green for their school building projects in the central region at five different sites ieMfantsiman, Swedru, Mando, Senya and Saltpond.

 State Housing Company: Successfully supplied building materials to the SHC for some of their building projects at Buduburam in the central region.
