Oxford Institute of Business & Journalism is a non-profit educational institution accredited by the National Board for Professional and Technician Examination (NABPTEX) and affiliated to the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) in UK. The business department of the institution is also currently affiliated to the Kumasi Polytechnic.


The institution was established in 2006 with 15 students at the premises of Cambridge Educational Complex at North Suntreso near Bekwai Runabout in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.


It is currently located at Ohwimase-Kwadaso (Rowlex Building) in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and has over ten (10) years’ experience in training several successful business oriented individuals and Journalists. Several of its products are currently working with many reputable media and business institutions in the country such as Paa Kwasi Parker Wilson with Joy fm, (Multimedia Group Limited) as Broadcast Journalist, Pomaa Kyekyeku with Kasapa fm, Accra as Newscaster, Kwabena Agyapong with Pink Fm, Accra as Deputy News Editor and Newscaster, Beatrice Sarpong (Opatuo) with Nhyira Fm, Kumasi as reporter and hundreds of others in several strategic areas.
