Eduroam for Ghana Wi-Fi

Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming wireless access service developed for the international research and education community. Eduroam is an encrypted (WPA2) wireless service. It allows students, researchers, faculty, and staff to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop or supported mobile devices.

With Eduroam in the Ghanaian universities, students can easily log in to the database of the university and have access to assignments, live broadcast of lectures, etc anywhere he may be. Thus, one can even be in England and log in to the campus activities in their university in Ghana or elsewhere. Currently this feature is not available in Ghana and a visiting student in Ghana from the US cannot log in to his university abroad. Eduroam in Ghana can easily change this and make the Ghanaian universities more advanced, and learning much easier. This is what TEAM-UP WISP LTD wishes to bring to Ghana if granted the permission and room to do so.
