Millennium Child Support Group

Millennium Child Support Group is a non-governmental organization

dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged and vulnerable

children especially girls in the deprived communities to reach their full

potential. We work to demand the rights of children and empowering the

marginalized women to achieve sustainable development through

democratic and good governance to reduce poverty.

VISION STATEMENT:

A world in which the rights of every child are realized free from violence and women attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation.

MISSION STATEMENT:

1. We are dedicated to improving the lives quality of underprivileged children and help them to develop their full potential through affordable quality education.

2. We aims to prevent and respond to all forms of neglect, abuse, exploitation and violence against children through a comprehensive child protection system at the regional and national level where governments, civil society and children are empowered to share experience, formalize linkages and reinforce cooperation to end violence against children

3. Preventing “on-line” violence, with a particular focus on child sexual exploitation.

4. We work to promote the Convention on the Rights of the Child and strives to defend the human rights towards persons with disabilities.

5. We are committed to ensuring special protection for the most disadvantaged children —victims of war, disasters, extreme poverty, all forms of violence and exploitation.

6. Addressing violence in the every-day lives of children, with an initial focus on investments across West Africa regions and sub-national actors to implement evidence based programming.

7. Addressing the prevention of violence against children facing conflict and crisis.

8. We insists that the survival, protection and development of children are universal development imperatives that are integral to human progress.

9. We are also empowering the marginalized women to achieve sustainable development through democratic and good governance to reduce extreme poverty.

10. We aims, through its activities programs, to promote the equal rights of women and girls and to support their full participation in the political, social, and economic development of their communities.

11. We insists that the survival, protection and development of children are universal development imperatives that are integral to human progress.

12. We are dedicated to the sustainable reduction of road-crash death and injury of women and children in our roads.
